I had another post on deck for today. However, as I sat down last night to touch it up, with the news on in the background, what I was writing about felt trivial in wake of tragedy. I decided to not post this week. 

Yesterday also happened to be my late brother in law’s birthday which is and always will be a somber day for my family. Days like yesterday put a lot into perspective.

As we all work to spread love to combat the hate, let’s remember to do the same with ourselves. This week is a day to mourn, grieve, reflect and be grateful for what we do have.
